Job Title: Instructional Designer 

Shift Schedule: Preferred 8am-4:30pmCST/9am-5:30pm EST (Start time no earlier than 7amCST/8amEST and no later than 9amCST/10amEST)

Hybrid Onsite: ** Onsite requirement is 1 day per week for now and then 2 days per week starting in April. This role is based out of Winchester, VA

Training: Same hours as shift. Self-based training and Peer to Peer/on job training which is a combination of Mentor and Supervisor leadership

Contract Length: Project based work with an end date of Dec 2024. Possibility for extension and/or application for FTE openings if available at the end of

contract. All based on budgetary approvals and performance.

General BG/Skill Set:

• Soft Skills are always good but Technical skill set is most important
• Required Technical Software Skills: E-Learning, Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline and Camtasia
• Ability digesting complex information, working with SMEs and experience with technical training programs
• Professional Portfolio Link to review is a plus but not required: Works Samples are good as well
• No mortgage BG required but is a plus -Experience at other financial institutions etc

General Responsibilities:

• Help building training for internal purposes. 
• Trainers who cover the REL Dept.
• High technical training content
• Collect and write the content for training courses

Job Description:

Objective:

• Develop instructional courses tailored to desired learning outcomes that support employee learning and development.
• Quickly and efficiently learn and process large volumes of technical information, conducting research with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Increase efficiency and help produce error-free work through the creation of reference materials and support tools that reinforce training for client team members. 

Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of Instructional Design- (3-5 years) of experience

· Proficient in E-Learning/Articulate Rise/Storyline

· Experience converting instructor lead content to self based learning

· Wont be required to present/communication with high level leaders or peers outside of there immediate team

• Strong conversational grammar and familiarity with using in-house style guides
• Ability to compile, organize, and present technical information clearly and concisely
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Instructional Design, Education, Writing, Communication, Business, Behavioral Sciences, Training Development OR a related certification
